She was given a red card in the 57th minute for violent conduct for what looked like a hair tug on Madison Curry.
Reyes has already served the first of the two game suspension, missing out on the road match at San Diego Wave. She will now miss the upcoming home match vs KC Current as well.
On a short week with three matches in eight days, this is a brutal loss for Portland Thorns. Marie MĂĽller just earned her first start since coming back from injury, and M.A. Vignola has played in every match this season. Expect Mallie Mckenzie to see heavy minutes on the weekend.
