The Portland Timbers prevailed in Game Two of the First Round of the MLS Cup Playoffs, winning a penalty kick shootout against San Diego FC in a dramatic and classic night at Providence Park to keep their season alive.

The match had everything: Kristoffer Velde being a menace, Gage Guerra scoring a stoppage time equalizer (again!), multiple saved & missed penalties, and Portland somehow prevailing in spot kicks.
