The Thorns fell 0-2 at Lumen Field last Sunday in the last Cascadia rivalry of the year. Laura Harvey's side took revenge for the win the Thorns got at Providence Park while playing with nine players.

As for Portland, Jennie Immethun made her second start of the season, and Mallie Mackenzie filled in for Reilyn Turner.

Seattle gathered a good crowd for this game. A total of 14,793 showed up to Lumen Field in the second Rivalry match of the year.

Things didn't start well for the visitors because only eight minutes into the game, Ryanne Brown scored.

If we look at the momentum chart, we will find that the Thorns controlled most of the first half. However, that wasn't enough to be one goal down before the 10th minute mark.
