The defender was a part of nine seasons in the Rose City. She won two NWSL Championships (2017 and 2022), two NWSL Shields (2016 and 2021), 2021 NWSL Challenge Cup, 2020 NWSL Community Shield, and 2021 Women's International Cup. She earned 183 appearances (167 starts) including 27 assists across all competitions.
Jennie Immethun headed to Angel City FC
As announced by both Portland Thorns and Angel City FC, Jennie Immethun will be moving back to her home state of California.
With her contract set to expire today, both clubs have announced that the midfielder has joined ACFC on a free transfer - allowing Immethun, 21, to join her new club immediately.
After coming to the Rose City as a trialist, she earned several extensions, including her latest one through July 31. She earned four appearances (two starts) with the Portland Thorns.
