The Portland Thorns return to Providence Park Friday to take on reigning and defending NWSL Champions, Gotham FC.
Coming off consecutive road losses, PTFC will look to bounce back at Providence Park.
Here's everything you need to know before the match:
The Return of Morgan Weaver
The Portland Thorns forward is set to make her long-awaited return from injury. Today, the club announced that she has been removed from the season-ending injury list and will be available for selection.

The Debut of Nina Nijstad
After being signed from PSV on July 7, the club opted for her to stay back in Portland and train instead of traveling to the match at Denver Summit FC.
However, Robert Vilahman has shared that the Dutch midfielder will be on the gameday roster vs Gotham FC and is expected to make her NWSL debut.

Alexa Spaanstra move to Utah Royals made permanent
After heading on short-term loan to URFC in March, the move has been made permanent.
Details: $25,000 in intra-league transfer funds and up to $7,500 in conditional add-ons
Media Availability with Marie Müller and Robert Vilahamn
Reilyn Turner: "Closer to six weeks since the start of the injury."
Caiya Hanks: "One step to enter 11v11, small-sided games fully. She is one step behind Morgan Weaver which is a few more weeks. If everything goes well with her testing next week, she's just a few weeks away."
